It’s a me a Mario! (okay, I’m actually Greek and not Italian, but it’s still a catchy, Nintendo-invented catchphrase.) After finishing college with a degree in Government & Politics at Maryland and deciding the “One more year!” chant was just too strong, I stayed another year to get my MPP (Master of Public Policy). That let me to American University’s Ph.D. program in Justice, Law, & Society + Policy Analysis in their School of Public Affairs … but that didn’t pan out as no one really seemed that interested in my cybersecurity dissertation musings. I may go back to get it someday. And I’ll hold off talking about my law school aspirations for now. First I need to have the diploma that goes with the name “Dr. Mario.”
I’m interested in politics, policy, law, and technology, but I have numerous interests so talking with me will lead you anywhere. And I work for a government contracting firm — the stories I have are endless (one word for you: “FEMA”).
